CINCINNATI -- A Tri-State charity that ran out of food last year is seeing even more requests for assistance this year.
Volunteers at St. Vincent de Paul said the requests are up more than 10 percent over last year.
The non-profit will hold a Thanksgiving meal distribution from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday.
Patrons are encouraged to show up early to get in line.
Volunteers said people need to bring a photo ID to get a meal and that they will receive only one box per family.
More than 130 volunteers are taking part of the distribution day.
