CINCINNATI -- Soon shoppers will be able to access Kroger groceries in Walgreens stores.
The concept, which is part of a pilot, will blend Kroger’s expertise in grocery with Walgreen’s experience in pharmacy, health and beauty, the companies announced Tuesday.
The retailers will roll out the experiment at 13 Northern Kentucky Walgreens stores.
Kroger’s Our Brands grocery items, including organic brand, Simple Truth, will be available in Walgreens stores. Customers will also be able to order Kroger items online and pick up at Walgreens.
