CINCINNATI – A woman rammed a U-Haul rental van into a police cruiser and drove across several front yards while leading officers on a 29-minute pursuit Sunday, according to police.

Iesha Harris, 24, and Darius Loveless, 23, assaulted a woman and stole the rental van in Colerain Township, police said in affidavits.

Harris slammed the woman’s head in the van’s door and punched her in the face during the robbery, according to an affidavit. The victim then called the police, and Harris took off in the van with Loveless.

Officers tried to stop the pair, but Harris kept driving, police said. Even after hitting a police car, Harris didn’t stop the van until she hit spiked “stop sticks” deployed by a deputy.

Then Harris tried to run, but a K-9 unit quickly stopped her, police said. Loveless stayed in the passenger seat and was arrested there.

Harris was charged with failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, robbery and felonious assault. Loveless was charged with robbery.
