CINCINNATI — Cincinnati Metro will suspend service at 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday nights in accordance with a citywide curfew announced earlier on Sunday.

For bus and scheduling information visit go-metro.com or call Metro at 513-621-4455 weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The extended curfew comes after a second night of unrest in Cincinnati during protests for George Floyd and after a Cincinnati police officer narrowly escaped a bullet. The bullet hit the officer's ballistic helmet as Cincinnati police worked to disperse a "disorderly crowd" near the University of Cincinnati at 12:23 a.m. Sunday. The officer was not injured.

The curfew will end each morning at 6 a.m.
