CINCINNATI — Cincinnati’s first centrally-located medicinal marijuana dispensary is now open for business.

Have a Heart Cincy dispensary opened its doors Thursday in Hartwell at 8420 Vine St, one of four medical marijuana dispensaries in the area including Verilife in Columbia Township, About Wellness in Lebanon and Debbie's Dispensary in Hillsboro.

At 9,000 square feet, Have a Heart Cincy managers say it's the largest dispensary in Ohio, offering patients flower, tinctures, edibles, concentrated oils and waxes, transdermal patches, topical salves and more.

Managers say Have a Heart Cincy grew out of a need for minority-owned medical marijuana dispensaries in the area.

“It’s groundbreaking that we’re in the city of Cincinnati,” general manager Darius Bobo said. “The state is excited about this market ... Southwest Ohio has been a little bit delayed in getting everything out, but we’re looked at as a premium market because of the population of our city.”

You will need a state medical marijuana card to enter the facility. To learn more about the store’s menu, qualifying conditions and other requirements, click here.
