CINCINNATI – An East End man who was shot during a home invasion last week is facing drug and gun charges for selling marijuana out of his home, police say.

Police say Wade Miller, 26, had marijuana for distribution at his residence in the 4200 block of Eastern Avenue. They said he tried to conceal the 22-caliber handgun he used to protect his drug operation by throwing it out the window when police arrived.

Police said they also found 19 Percocet pills in Miller's house. The pills were stashed in a small, black film container next to his wallet and paperwork, according to an affidavit.

Another person was shot and a dog was killed in the home invasion on Dec. 23.

Miller is charged with drug trafficking, drug abuse and tampering with evidence.
