Duke restores power to most customers affected by afternoon outages

Some customers may be out of power till 10

CINCINNATI - Duke Energy had restored power to more than 4,400 customers, leaving only 468 in the dark as of 6 p.m. Wednesday,  according to its outage web page.  

That included 309 customers in Hamilton County, 65 in Butler County, two in Clermont County and one in Kenton County.

Duke said it expected to restore power by 9:15 p.m. in Butler County and 10 p.m. in Hamilton County.

More than 4,900 customers were without power at one point.

The largest concentration of customers without power  - about 2,700 - was in Covedale, roughly from Cleves-Warsaw Pike north to Glenway Crossing and from Neeb Road east to Glenway Avenue.
