CINCINNATI — A man is dead after crashing his motorcycle on Fort Washington Way near Interstate 471, according to police.
Shortly after 1 p.m. Friday afternoon, emergency crews responded to a reported crash on the ramp from eastbound Fort Washington Way/US-50 to southbound I-471. Authorities closed the ramp while emergency crews worked.

Officers on the scene said the motorcyclist lost control of the vehicle on the ramp above, hit the wall and was thrown from the motorcycle, falling approximately 40 feet onto a parking lot below the ramp on Eggleston Avenue near Third Street.
Police did not identify the motorcyclist.
