CINCINNATI -- Heads up, West Siders: The bottom deck of the Western Hills Viaduct will be closed Saturday for scheduled inspections.
The bottom deck will be closed from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. The ramp at Exit 2B from southbound Interstate 75 to the viaduct also will be closed. The top deck will stay open.
Drivers will be routed via the top deck to Central Parkway, Brighton Place, to Harrison Avenue to Spring Grove Avenue.
Drivers heading west from Spring Grove will be detoured along the same route via Harrison Avenue to Brighton Place to Central Parkway to the top deck.
Crews will be conducting inspections of about 70 different beams, stringers and girders.
