CINCINNATI – Police are hoping a city council member's security camera can lead them to the drive-by shooter who killed a 19-year-old Bond Hill woman over the weekend.
Christopher Smitherman said police asked for camera video from a building he owns near the shooting and he was "honored" to oblige.
CPD made contact requesting the video from my cameras related to the murder this weekend on Dale Rd. I am honored to help catch the killers!

It wouldn't be the first time police have used Smitherman's camera video to find a shooting suspect. They did the same thing last year.
Those who knew the shooting victim, Parris Hummons, say she was simply at the wrong place at the wrong time around 10 p.m. Saturday as she and a friend drove along Reading Road near Dale Road.
Smitherman has said he hopes to change the "no-snitch mentality" and encourage others to cooperate with police.
