CINCINNATI — Police have arrested and charged a man with murder in connection with a fatal shooting in Avondale on Aug. 24.
Cincinnati police responded to the 3500 block of Burnet Avenue on the night of Aug. 24 for a report of gunfire in the area. When they arrived, they learned a woman had been shot and transported by a private vehicle to UC Medical Center.
She later succumbed to her injuries. The victim was later identified as 27-year-old Paige Jones.
On Tuesday afternoon, Cincinnati Homicide detectives arrested and charged 33-year-old Joshua Gibson with murder.
