BLUE ASH, Ohio -- Sheriff's deputies are searching for a man who led them on a six-mile chase up Kenwood Road Monday morning.

At 12:10 a.m., a deputy working Columbia Township tried to initiate a traffic stop on a white, four-door Chevy Impala for a misdemeanor warrant that came back to the registered owner of the vehicle.

Deputies say the vehicle fled north on Kenwood Road for 5.9 miles and came to a stop in Blue Ash on Kenwood Road at Zigzag Road due to mechanical issues.

The driver of the vehicle fled on foot and the passenger of the vehicle remained in the vehicle. The passenger was found to have a misdemeanor drug possession warrant and was taken into custody.

A sheriff's K-9 unit responded but could not locate the driver. This incident remains under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

Anyone with information is asked to call (513) 825-1500 or Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040.
