MIAMI TOWNSHIP (Clermont County), Ohio – A Milford High School graduate is facing four counts of rape.

Frank Sullivan, 23, most recently attended Wittenberg University. His three accusers are all Wittenberg students.

Springfield police began investigating the allegations in March. A grand jury indicted Sullivan this week.

Sullivan had been a standout on Milford High’s football and baseball teams. He was suspended by the Wittenberg baseball team and is no longer a student there.

Students on campus reacted strongly to the news that police said the assaults happened at housing both on and off campus.

“I think it’s absolutely crazy that something like that happened here,” Wittenberg student Christian Babbyak said.

The university is not permitted to discuss the allegations, but officials said they want students to feel safe reporting crimes.

Sullivan is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges Friday morning.
