13-year-old hospitalized with serious injuries after hit by car in Goshen

GOSHEN, Ohio -- A 13-year-old boy was struck by a car in Goshen, according to a release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred around 1:20 p.m. Saturday on state Route 28 near Shiloh Road in Clermont County.

William R. Garner, 61, of Blanchester, was driving a 2004 black Chevrolet Impala west bound when he struck the boy, authorities said.

The boy was transported to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center with serious injuries.

Neither Garner nor his juvenile passenger were injured. 

The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
