Police arrest second suspect in South Cumminsville homicide

NEWPORT, Ky. — Police on Monday arrested a second suspect in connection to the murder of a man in South Cumminsville in mid-April, according to Cincinnati police.

Police said Dylan Hurt, 24, was arrested on a murder warrant in the death of 29-year-old David Norwood. Hurt is the second suspect in the case; police on April 29 arrested 23-year-old Leaunte Baltimore on a murder charge.

Norwood was found shot and unresponsive in a car in the 3800 block of Cass Avenue on the afternoon of April 15.

Police are currently holding Hurt in the Campbell County Jail.

The investigation into the death of Norwood is ongoing.
