WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio – A Florence, Kentucky man has been charged in the theft of guns from Cabela’s, police said Friday.

Ricky Barrett Jr., 39, was charged on two counts of theft in relation to the stolen firearms.

Previously, police reported that a man stole three guns -- a Springfield Armory M1A, a Beretta 28-gauge shotgun and a Black Rain Fallout assault rifle – from the store three days in a row.

The West Chester Cabela’s is a federally licensed firearms dealer, making the theft charges first degree felonies, police said.

Barrett is being held in Warren County Jail on unrelated charges.
