MIDDLETOWN, Ohio – Police responding to a 911 call found a man and woman passed out in the front seat of a running car with two young girls in the back Wednesday evening.

Anna Cordray and Tyler Marshall, both of West Chester, were arrested when officers found they had several grams of heroin, methadone pills, marijuana, an open container of vodka and scales to weigh drugs in the Grand Am, which was parked at a gas station, police said.

The drugs and alcohol were within reach of the two girls, police said.

Police also took the two girls, both younger than 5, back to the police station. When one of the girls said they hadn’t eaten lunch or dinner, officers fed them before handing them over to Cordray’s sister.

At least one of the girls has since gone with her biological father.

Cordray and Marshall were both due in court next week.
