HAMILTON, Ohio -- As chilly weather moves back into the Tri-State, dozens of people in Hamilton won't have natural gas until this weekend.

Hamilton city officials said they found a water line was leaking in a natural gas main; the outage was first reported late Wednesday night.

About 150 customers were without natural gas as of Thursday evening, WCPO media partner the Journal-News reported. City crews estimated service wouldn't be totally back until midday Saturday.

The Tri-State is likely to see a rain/snow mix for late Friday night into Saturday morning as a Canadian air mass and some moisture from the southwest combine. Temperatures Friday night are expected to dip to a low of 34 degrees, then fall close to freezing by Saturday at 7 a.m.
