HAMILTON, Ohio -- Gunshots punctuated a fistfight on Corwin Avenue early Monday morning, leaving residents such as Charles Saylor wondering what police will do to keep violence off their small residential street.

“I grew up in this house, and this used to be a good neighborhood,” Saylor said. “I don’t know what’s gone wrong with it."

Another neighbor caught the scene on camera: After pulling up in a red car and honking loudly for the people in one home to come outside, a group of teenagers became involved in a physical confrontation. As the fight escalated, the red car’s windows were smashed and a boy finally sent all of the participants running with a quick burst of gunshots.

No one was harmed in the shooting, but Hamilton police said they were investigating the incident and hoped to speak with the teenagers involved.

Anyone with information about the incident should call 513-868-5811.
