HAMILTON, Ohio — Police arrested a man Wednesday they say was responsible for a deadly shooting outside a Hamilton bar earlier this month.
Officers arrested Charles D. McDonald, 24, on charges of murder and felonious assault, Hamilton police told WCPO media partner the Journal-News.
Police accused McDonald of fatally shooting 23-year-old Robert Goens outside Hard Times Bar at around 2:30 on the morning of Jan. 15.
Police also accused McDonald of shooting 24-year-old Torriauno McCullough in the arm during the same incident.
As WCPO previously reported, detectives weren’t getting a lot of cooperation from potential witnesses.
The Journal-News reports that Goens was the second homicide in Hamilton in 2016.
