Driver killed when car crosses center line, hits two vehicles in Fairfield Township

FAIRFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio – A driver died after a car crossed the center line and hit two vehicles in Fairfield Township Saturday afternoon, police said.

The crash happened on the state Route 4 bypass, south of Hamilton Mason Road, about 2:40 p.m. according to a police release.

A 2013 Kia northbound on the bypass went left of center and hit a southbound 2018 Toyota Sienna. The Kia then spun into the path of a 2001 Chevy Suburban. A fourth vehicle was hit by debris.

The Kia driver was pronounced dead at UC Health West Chester Hospital. The driver’s name has not been released.

Others suffered injuries that were not life-threatening and were transported to hospitals, the release said.

The crash remains under investigation.
