HEBRON, Ky. -- Authorities determined a suspicious device at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport was safe Friday morning, according to the Cincinnati Fire Department.
CVG airport authorities contacted the Cincinnati Fire Department at about 12:10 a.m. about a suspicious device at the airport’s DHL terminal.
The fire department’s Hazardous Device Unit secured the device and moved it to a remote location on the property, where authorities determined the device was safe.
Five Cincinnati firefighters were on scene for about two hours until they rendered the device safe. No one was injured.
