MANCHESTER, Ohio — State fire officials are offering up $5,000 for tips that will help them identify who started two arson fires in Adams County.

The Division of State Fire Marshal’s Fire & Explosion Investigation Bureau is asking for the publics help in finding the individual or individuals who set a house at 308 East 7th Street on Aug. 24 and then a second fire at 309 East 6th Street on Sept. 12 on fire.

Both addresses are in Manchester.

“We need your help to solve this case.  Information from the public can help tremendously,” said State Fire Marshal Larry L. Flowers. “Even if you don’t think the information is relevant, it could bring the entire case together for our investigators.”

The Blue Ribbon Arson Committee is offering the reward of up to $5,000.

The Manchester Fire Department and Adams County Sheriff’s Office is also involved in the arson investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call the State Fire Marshal’s Fire & Explosion Investigation Bureau at 1-800-589-2728 or the Adams County Sheriff’s Office at (937) 544-2314.
