MASON, Ohio — A 4-year-old boy has died after being found in a pond near his home in Deerfield Township Saturday evening, according to the Warren County Sheriff's Office.
Around 4 p.m., crews responded to the 4000 block of South Shore Drive for reports of a child found in a pond.
Crews performed CPR on the child before transferring him to Cincinnati Children's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, said police.
This is an ongoing investigation.
