Thanksgiving Eve 2018: Here's where to party

Thanksgiving Eve is the biggest party night of the year. Here are all the parties happening Wednesday night.  

Get Stuffed on Music: 8 p.m. Wednesday. Southgate House Revival, 111 E. Sixth St., Newport. $10 advance; $15 at the door. All ages. Spend the night before Thanksgiving feasting on three stages of live music.

Blue Wisp Big Band 39th annual Thanksgiving Eve Extravaganza: 7-8 p.m. Wednesday. Caffé Vivace Coffee House, 975 E. McMillan St., Walnut Hills. $18. The Blue Wisp Big Band will host its 39th annual Thanksgiving Eve concert at Cincinnati's newest jazz lounge and coffee house.

Party with a Vue: 8 p.m.-1 a.m. Wednesday. Cincy Vue Event Center, 800 W. Eighth St., Downtown. $10. Dance and enjoy some Wild Turkey-inspired cocktails with Cincinnati's skyline as a beautiful backdrop.

Ernie Johnson From Detroit Live Thanksgiving Eve: 9 p.m. Wednesday. MOTR, 1345 Main St., Over-the-Rhine. The Ernies will play two free sets Thanksgiving Eve at MOTR Pub.

The Turkey Bash Revival: 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Wednesday. Hotel Covington, 638 Madison Ave., Covington. Coppin's and the Hotel Covington will serve up more than just a boozy bash this Thanksgiving Eve. The boutique hotel also will raffle off a getaway package for two to Chicago that includes roundtrip airfare and a two-night stay at the St. Jane Hotel; a stay and breakfast at Hotel Covington; a $500 gift card to Donna Salyers Fabulous Furs; and a $250 gift certificate to Paolo A Modern Jeweler. All you need to do for your chance to win is show up with a non-perishable food item and you will receive up to five complimentary raffle tickets. And yes, there will be drinks, food specials and music, too.

Thanksgiving Eve with the Tillers: 9 p.m.-12:30 a.m. Wednesday. Arnold's Bar and Grill, 210 E. Eighth St., Downtown. Enjoy live music by the Tillers at Arnold's during this event presented by Maker's Mark.

Thanksgiving Eve at Queen City Exchange: 2 p.m.-2 a.m. Wednesday. Queen City Exchange, 32 W. Court St., Downtown. Enjoy $3 pints from any of the bar's 41 drafts from 6-9 p.m.

Fowl Play Thanksgiving Eve Bash: 6 p.m.-2 a.m. Wednesday. Mount Adams Pavilion, 949 Pavilion St., Mount Adams. DJs Fuseamania and Ben & Milkshake will provide the music. VIP bottle service will be available.

Thanksgiving Eve with Old Flame Records & Friends: 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Wednesday. Rhinegeist, 1910 Elm St., Over-the-Rhine. Enjoy live tunes from Moonbeau and Carriers until midnight, courtesy of Old Flame Records. Rhinegeist will donate a portion of the evening's proceeds to Give Back Cincinnati's Fall Feast.

Golden Pony Presents Year One: 10 p.m.-2:30 a.m. Wednesday. The Mockbee, 2260 Central Parkway, West End. The night before Thanksgiving will mark the Golden Pony crew's first anniversary of playing monthly gigs at The Mockbee. Ron Mills and DJ Craig James will perform from 10 p.m.-midnight, followed by a free-for-all of sets later in the night.

Thanksgiving Eve at Tin Roof: 8 p.m.-3 a.m. Wednesday. Tin Roof, 160 E. Freedom Way, Downtown. The Bad Resolutions will perform, and the bar will feature specially priced Fireball shots all evening.

Bon Vivant: 5-9 p.m. Wednesday. Urban Artifact, 1660 Blue Rock St., Northside. $25-$50 in advance; $35-$60 at the door. Urban Artifact has been hard at work for months designing a liquid five-course meal. The brewery also worked with Northside restaurants to craft food-pairing combinations to serve Thanksgiving Eve.

Brother Smith at Octave: 9 p.m. Wednesday. Octave, 611 Madison Ave., Covington. $5. Ages 21 and up. Enjoy drinks and a live performance from Brother Smith the night before Thanksgiving.

Floyd and the Walkmen live at Molly Malone's: 9 p.m.-1 a.m. Wednesday. Molly Malone's, 112 E. Fourth St., Covington. Celebrate the kickoff to the holiday season with Floyd and the Walkmen at Molly's.

Thanksgiving Eve at Energy Night Club: 10 p.m. Wednesday. Ages 18 and up. Free. Party the night away.

Thanksgiving Fowler: 5-11 p.m. Wednesday. 13 Below Brewery, 7391 Forbes Road, Sayler Park. For every pint you drink at the brewery receive a ticket for the chance to win a gift card or merchandise. The brewery will hold drawings at 8, 9, 10 and 11 p.m.

Grunge Fest: 6 p.m. Wednesday. Bogart's 2621 Vine St., Corryville. $15. Break out your finest flannel shirt and prepare to take a trip back to the 1990s during Grunge Fest, a tribute show to Stone Temple Pilots and Alice in Chains.

Pre-Thanksgiving with The Inturns: 7:30-11 p.m. Wednesday. Wiedemann's Fine Beer, 4811 Vine St., Saint Bernard. The Inturns play Wiedemann's for some pre-Thanksgiving fun.

Get Basted at The St. Clair: 8 p.m. Wednesday. The St. Clair, 245 Calhoun St., CUF-Heights. Get basted on Thanksgiving Eve with $6 double wells, $2 off drafts and music by College Beats from 10 p.m.-close.

Sixth Annual Belgian Beer and Disco Night: 5-8 p.m. Wednesday. Market Wines, 128 W. Elder St., Over-the-Rhine. It's time again to tap the St. Bernardus Belgian Christmas Ale and break out the bell bottoms and disco music during this annual event at Findlay Market.

Thanksgiving Eve Party at Dickmann's: 9 p.m. Wednesday. Dickmann's Sports Cafe, 479 Orphanage Road, Fort Mitchell. The Derek Alan Band will provide live music at this Northern Kentucky sports bar.

Thanksgiving Eve Party at Mecklenburg Gardens: 321 E. University Ave., Corryville. Sip Brink Brewing Co.'s Moozie Stout from a complimentary glass while playing trivia for the chance to win prizes at Mecklenburg Gardens.

Thanksgiving Eve Dance Party: 8:30 p.m.-2 a.m. Wednesday. CWC, the Restaurant, 1517 Springfield Pike, Wyoming. For one night only, CWC, the Restaurant, turns into CWC, the Bar. Drinks will be flowing and the music will be bumping.

Cyclones Hockey: 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. U.S. Bank Arena, 100 Broadway St., Downtown. $15-$27.50. Enjoy the night before Thanksgiving with $1 Miller High Life and Pabst Blue Ribbon beers as the Cincinnati Cyclones take on the Kalamazoo Wings.

Thanksgiving Eve With 3 Piece Revival: 8-11 p.m. Wednesday. Fretboard Brewing, 5800 Creek Road, Blue Ash. Ages 21 and older after 9 p.m. Craft beer, bar bites, beermosas and energetic live music will be on tap the night before Thanksgiving at Fretboard Brewing, and 3 Piece Revival will play hits from the 1970s through today.

Warehouse Reunion at Mixwells: 9 p.m.-2:30 a.m. Wednesday. Mixwells Northside, 3935 Spring Grove Ave., Northside. No cover for ages 21 and older. Remember the Warehouse nightclub at 1313 Vine St.? If so, head to Mixwells for a night of all your Warehouse and early Darkotica favorites. Mike Dangers is coming out of retirement for one night only to provide entertainment, with STEPHEN29 providing auxiliary support.

Voltage Vodkaversary and Disco: 6 p.m.-midnight Wednesday. Voltage Vodka, 7885 E. Kemper Road, Sycamore Township. Voltage Vodka is celebrating its first birthday 1970s disco style. Enjoy hourly cocktail releases, specials on all Voltage cocktails and a two-lane ice luge.

90 Proof Twang at Knotty Pine Sportsmans Club: 10 p.m.-2 a.m. Wednesday. Knotty Pine, 6947 Cheviot Road, Colerain Township. 90 Proof Twang will play live country and Southern rock music.

Jeanius .. a Jean Joint: 5 p.m.-2 a.m. Wednesday. Cove51, 11473 Chester Road, Sharonville. $10-$125. Doors will open for a free happy hour at 5 p.m. and the party will continue until 2 a.m.

Turkey Night Eve at The Hi-Mark: 4 p.m.-2 a.m. Wednesday. The Hi-Mark, 3229 Riverside Drive, East End. DJ Druskii will play at 11 p.m. There also will be an all-night happy hour from 4 p.m. to close with $1 off all drinks and $10 wings and fries.

The Phelps Bar/Top of the Park - Acoustic: 5-8 p.m. Wednesday. The Phelps Bar, 506 E. Fourth St., Downtown. Come for some drinks and stay for the music and atmosphere.

Dance Yrself Clean - LCD Soundsystem Tribute: 7 p.m.-midnight. The Woodward Theater, 1404 Main St., Over-the-Rhine. $15 advance. Ages 18 and older. DYC will be a night of LCD Soundsystem tunes from members of Us Today, Blossom Hall, Passeport and Soften. There will be plenty of themed surprises as well.

'Rocky Horror Picture Show' with the Denton Affair: 8-11 p.m. Wednesday. The Video Archive, 965 McMillan St., Walnut Hills. There will be a light over at The Video Archive this Thanksgiving Eve when Dr. Frank N. Furter serves up your favorites as the cast of Denton Affair screens "The Rocky Horror Picture Show."

Art After Dark: Confess Yourself: 5-9 p.m. Wednesday. Cincinnati Art Museum, 953 Eden Park Drive, Mount Adams. Free. Explore your identity and the masks we wear during this month’s Art After Dark. Enjoy live performances from DJ Mowgli, Black Signal and Pones; an interactive photo booth; food for purchase from Eli's BBQ; specialty cocktails; docent-led tours and free admission to "Life: Gillian Wearing" and "The Fabric of India."

The Wednesday Before: 7 p.m.-2 a.m. Wednesday. Multiple locations in Pendleton. Meraki Haus μεράκι, SB Events, LLC and Far-I-Rome Creative have partnered to throw the largest Thanksgiving Eve event in Cincinnati. The party will take place at Boomtown Biscuits & Whiskey, Nation Kitchen and Bar, Lucius Q and 3 Points Urban Brewery. Think$avy, PXVCE and Triiibe will play at Lucius Q. DJ Prymtime and DJ HD will perform at 3 Points Urban Brewery.

A Very Dysfunctional Thanksgiving Eve: 8 p.m. Wednesday. Top Cats, 2820 Vine St., Corryville. $5. Ages 18 and older. Celebrate Thanksgiving Eve with See You In The Funnies, Sundae Drives, Camper Clark and The Traveling Jam at Top Cats.
