Chirping birds, blooming trees and the anticipation of Opening Day in Cincinnati—all of this can mean one thing: It’s allergy season. To help more Cincinnatians enjoy the coming spring months without the frustration of itchy eyes and runny noses, UC Health is offering free allergy screenings.

Allergy symptoms can range from an inconvenient nuisance to a serious and sometimes life-threatening condition. Many people who have allergies have symptoms including fatigue, difficulty concentrating, dizziness and lost productivity at work or school. Identifying these symptoms and finding the right treatment can drastically improve quality of life.

Screenings consist of a series of simple skin pricks which test for the most prevalent environmental allergens—such as trees, cats, dust, mold, etc. Results are typically available within 15 minutes.

UC Health’s expert clinicians will hold screenings in Clifton, Middletown and West Chester on March 28 through March 30. Please register to reserve a spot by calling (513) 475-8400. Space is limited.
