Kentucky residents will hit the polls Tuesday to vote on candidates for a variety of elected positions.

Voting hours
Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. If you are in line at 6 p.m., you will be allowed to vote, according to the State Board of Elections.
To vote in person, you'll need to bring identification. Acceptable types of ID include:
- Personal acquaintance of precinct officer,
- Driver's license,
- Social Security card,
- County-issued identification card approved in writing by the State Board of Elections,
- U.S. government-issued identification card,
- Kentucky state government-issued identification with picture,
- Credit card or another form of ID containing both picture and signature
