UNION TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A man was charged with murder late Thursday night in connection to a fatal assault at a Day’s Inn hotel.
Jabar Ishmail, 38, was arrested Thursday on charges of murder and felonious assault.
The victim, 25-year-old Kailin Jones, was discovered wounded at the Mount Carmel Tobasco Road hotel and died after being transported to a nearby hospital.
A second victim whom police did not identify was also hospitalized.
A judge on Friday issued a $2 million bond. Ishmail is scheduled to appear in court on March 25 for a pre-trial hearing.
