Police charge 2 men in fatal Winton Hills shooting

CINCINNATI -- Police arrested two men in connection to a fatal shooting last summer.

Coron Smith, 19, and Devarieh Riggins, 20, were both charged in the death of James Tamplin, police said.

James Tamplin died from his injuries.

Officers found Tamplin, 27, suffering a gunshot wound early June 28 in Winton Hills. He died from his injuries at the hospital.

Smith and Riggins were both indicted on charges of aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, aggravated robbery and having weapons under disability, according to court records.

Smith was already facing charges of aggravated murder and other crimes in the death of 18-year-old She-ar Dornal last July.
