Parents left 5-year-old girl home alone amid drug trafficking operation, according to sheriff

ANDERSON TWP., Ohio – Parents of a 5-year-old girl were arrested Friday after leaving her home alone with illegal drugs in plain view and within her reach, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.

A visit by Job and Family Services in response to a medical neglect complaint led to the discovery of the girl and a drug trafficking operation in an apartment in the 6400 block of Clough Pike, according to a news release.

Aeriez Greene, 24, is charged with permitting drug abuse and child endangering, and Rayshon Martin, 26, is charged with trafficking and possessing cocaine and heroin as well as child endangering, according to the sheriff’s office.

RENU agents recovered more than 27 grams of cocaine and more than 10 grams of heroin, plus marijuana, a handgun and multiple items used to prepare and distribute narcotics, the release said.
