DEARBORN COUNTY, Ind. – A mother and son have been arrested in connection with a two-month series of daytime home burglaries, according to the Dearborn-Ohio County Prosecutor's Office.
Jeffery Wayne Henderson, 41, has been charged with 17 counts of burglary of a dwelling. Bonnie Henderson, 65, has been charged with two counts.
The burglaries occurred in Manchester Township beginning in mid-September, according to the prosecutor.
Detectives got a tip in late October after using a press release and social media to solicit information from the public. After obtaining a search warrant, they recovered stolen property at the Hendersons’ home on Willoughby Road.
Jeffrey Henderson had a court hearing Tuesday. His mother was arrested thr same day.
“These detectives, with help from the community, were able to solve the rash of burglaries perpetrated by these two individuals," said Prosecuting Attorney Lynn Deddens.
