Grand jury decides not to indict man accused of kidnapping woman at bus stop

CINCINNATI -- A grand jury reviewed charges and decided not to indict a man accused of kidnapping a woman at a bus stop and sexually assaulting her.

Roger Rust, 48, cornered a woman at a bus stop, forced her into his SUV and drove her into Kentucky last week, according to police.

Rust’s tire blew on Interstate 471, and the victim was able to get out the car and run into the woods. Rust followed her and sexually assaulted her, according to an affidavit. The woman escaped and flagged down a Campbell County Sheriff’s deputy along the highway.

The victim identified him in a photo lineup, police said.
