CINCINNATI -- Authorities have arrested a man accused of kidnapping a woman at a bus stop and sexually assaulting her.
Roger Rust, 48, Rust cornered a woman at a bus stop, forced her into his SUV and drove her into Kentucky Thursday, according to police.
Rust’s tire blew on Interstate 471, and the victim was able to get out the car and run into the woods. Rust followed her and sexually assaulted her, according to an affidavit. The woman escaped and flagged down a Campbell County Sheriff’s deputy along the highway.
Authorities arrested Rust Thursday evening. The victim identified him in a photo lineup, police said.
Rust was being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center with bond set at $200,000.
