Kentucky State Police arrest 3 after Falmouth homicide

FALMOUTH, Ky. — Three people have been arrested in connection to a homicide.

Christopher Powell, 31, was pronounced dead at Harrison County Memorial Hospital Sunday after Kentucky State Police said he was fatally injured in the area of Second Street in Falmouth.

On Tuesday, authorities arrested 45-year-old Shawn Richie, of Falmouth; 39-year-old Jason Wallace, of Butler and 41-year-old Christopher Harris, of Falmouth, according to Kentucky State Police

Richie and Wallace are both charged with first-degree manslaughter, and Harris is charged with tampering with physical evidence and hindering apprehension of a fugitive, troopers said.

Authorities didn't immediately share details on how the alleged crimes occurred.

Jail records indicate all three suspects are being held in the Campbell County Detention Center. Richie and Wallace are each being held on $75,000 bond. Harris is being held on $5,000 bond.
