CINCINNATI – A former official for Sheakley Group pleaded guilty Monday in a $328,000 embezzlement scheme, the U.S. Attorney’s Office reported.

Angelia Zwick, also known as Angelia Strunk, stole more than $328,000 of workers’ compensation refunds from the human resources firm in Springdale while she worked there between July 2009 and May 2013, according to a release.

The 46-year-old from Cincinnati wired the money from her employer’s bank account to a bank account for a company she owned, Amerihealth and Life Solutions, LLC.

In addition, Zwick filed false income tax returns for the 2010, 2011 and 2012 income tax years and owes $121,810 in additional taxes.

Zwick pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud and one count of willfully filing a false income tax return. Wire fraud is punishable by up to 20 years in prison and filing a false income tax return carries a maximum sentence of three years.
