LEBANON, Ohio — Day Two of the Brooke Skylar Richardson trial was cut short due to scheduling and logistical issues. That might have stemmed from the fact that one of the defense attorneys was unable to be in court due to some personal issues.

That might have mixed up the order of state witnesses. But Friday we should be back on track with key testimony from experts on behalf of the prosecution. That could include forensic, crime lab, pathologist, but be on the lookout for the all-important second interview. That took place July 17.

On Thursday the jury heard the first interview with her and the police. It really had everyone sitting on the edge of their seat and glued to the screen in the courtroom. So we can expect no different in the second interview.

Will the state want to show that to the jury before the weekend or will we have to wait till next week? Back to you.

WCPO and Court TV will cover this trial until a verdict is reached. You can watch over-the-air on Channel 9.2 or Spectrum Channel 995. We're also streaming coverage on Roku, Firestick and Apple TV as well as WCPO.com.
