FAYETTEVILLE, Ohio -- A Cincinnati man accused of raping a minor was sentenced to 20 years in prison, Brown County officials announced Wednesday.

Timothy Raymond Schmidt, 34, was indicted on two counts of rape involving a minor, four counts of gross sexual imposition involving a minor, one count of endangering children, one count of disseminating sexual matter and one count of pandering sexually explicit material of a minor last summer.

Schmidt pleaded guilty to amended charges Friday as part of a plea agreement, police said.

Earlier, police said they believed Schmidt was chatting online with juveniles in Idaho and exchanged photos of himself and the juvenile victims.

Schmidt is under federal indictment from the Department of Homeland Security on similar charges. Police said he will be transported to Idaho to face those charges.
