FAYETTEVILLE, Ohio -- A Cincinnati man has been indicted on one count of rape involving a minor and two counts of gross sexual imposition involving a minor after a six-month investigation by Fayetteville Police investigators.

Timothy Raymond Schmidt, 34, was believed to be chatting online with juveniles in Idaho, where police say he exchanged photos of himself and the juvenile victims.

The Fayetteville Police and the Department of Homeland Security served a search warrant May 19 and seized electronic devices that are currently being processed for potential evidence.

The Fayetteville Police Department believes there are more victims and urges anyone that has had contact with Schmidt to contact the Fayetteville Police Department at (513) 875-3535 or the Brown County Prosecutor’s Office. Schmidt has lived in places all over the Tri-State, including Fayetteville, Anderson Township, Dayton, Lockland and Lebanon.
