UNION, Ky. — Despite a pandemic impacting traditional graduation plans, parents in Union threw a parade to honor graduating seniors Wednesday evening.
Parents decorated their cars and drove Ryle High School seniors through the neighborhood to celebrate.
Each family, social distancing in their driveways, waited with gifts for each soon-to-be graduate. Fireworks fizzled in the evening sky as cars passed.
Well-wishers held signs, cheered and waved as seniors rode by, honoring their hard work in the safest way possible.
