Both Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley and Acting City Manager Patrick Duhaney have released their proposed budgets for 2019.
Each budget is aimed at curbing the $32 million budget shortfall looming over the city, and each features raised parking rates as part of the solution to that deficit. Because when your real problem is a lack of tax dollars coming into the city coffers, the best solution is to ... uh, well, deter people from coming into the city and spending money because parking is more expensive.
Yep, totally the best solution.
