We knew it would happen someday, but it still felt like a shock when Reds radio announcer Marty Brennaman announced he would retire after the 2019 season.
Brennaman has been a staple of Cincinnati radio for decades, and his voice is synonymous with the Redlegs. Although he's definitely earned his retirement, listening to Reds games on the radio will never be the same once that voice is gone.
