After a fourth employee tested positive for COVID-19 at its Florence call center, Citigroup Inc. on Wednesday decided to transfer all employees to a work-at-home format.

“We expect virtually all colleagues to transition to work from home by this afternoon,” said Citi spokesman Drew Benson in an email to WCPO.

As WCPO reported Tuesday, the massive Houston Road call center was closed temporarily on Monday so the facility could be deep cleaned and disinfected. Initially, the company said three employees had tested positive. But in Wednesday’s announcement, the company said four employees received positive test results.

They were last on site March 11, 12, 13 and 16, Benson said.
