February is children's dental health month! It's a time to focus our attention on the fact that almost half of children in the U.S. suffer from tooth decay, the most common chronic disease for young people ages 6 to 19. If left untreated, cavities can negatively impact a child's health and well-being--and have even been linked to poor academic performance. We talked to Dr. Maria Ryan of the Colgate, which is on a mission to create a zero cavity future for all.
