CINCINNATI — One person was killed in a double shooting in the West End early Sunday morning and one other is in the hospital, according to police.

Officers found a man with gunshot wounds in the street near a white SUV at the intersection of Findlay and Baymiller Streets.

Another victim police believe was injured in the same incident was transported to the hospital by private conveyance, according to a press release.

The victim who died has been identified by police as Donte Ford, 31.

According to police, the other victim is expected to survive his injuries.

Police are still piecing together what happened, and they have not said if they are looking for a suspect or not. Originally, a third shooting victim was discovered in the vicinity of this scene, and police believed the different scenes were connected.

However, in a press release sent Sunday afternoon, police said "the third victim originally reported was not related to this investigation."

If you have any information on these shootings, police are asking you to call Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040.
