CINCINNATI — Are you good with gore?

Constantin Film is currently accepting production crew resumes for its local-shot reboot of the 2003 horror-slasher franchise “Wrong Turn,” according to a Film Cincinnati Facebook post. Principal photography for the movie will begin in Cincinnati on Sept. 9 and last for five weeks.

Resumes can be sent to wrongturnmoviegmail.com. A separate call for possible extras may be sent out in the near feature, according to the film's production staff.

A local production office for the movie will open on the east side of Cincinnati next week.

"The Misfits Club" and "American Assassin” star Charlotte Vega will play Jess Shaw in the movie about a group of friends who end up lost (and mostly dead, and occasionally cannibalized) during a trip to West Virginia. The reboot is being directed by Mike P. Nelson, according to IMDb.

Alan B. McElroy, who wrote the original “Wrong Turn” starring Eliza Dushku, wrote the reboot’s script. The original “Wrong Turn” spawned five sequels.

Correction: An earlier headline on this story stated the production was accepting resumes for extras to appear in the film. The company is currently only seeking production personnel to work on shooting the film.
