CINCINNATI — Classic musicals, beloved plays, and uniquely Cincinnati stories, oh my!

Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park announced its 2020-21 season lineup Tuesday night. Here are the shows coming to the Eden Park playhouse next season:

The Wizard of Oz
Aug. 29 – Oct. 4, 2020, Marx Theatre

L. Frank Baum's classic fantasy adventure set to the music of the MGM movie that generations have come to know and love.

Tiny Beautiful Things
Sept. 12 – Oct. 25, 2020, Rosenthal Shelterhouse Theatre

From the writer of "Wild," this play touches on everything from "relationships and love to recovery and loss."

The West End
Oct. 17 – Nov. 14, 2020, Marx Theatre

The world premiere of a "uniquely Cincinnati" drama set in 1941, as African Americans travel to northern cities and German residents struggle to adjust amid World War II tensions.

Incident at Our Lady of Perpetual Help
Nov. 7, 2020 – Jan. 3, 2021, Rosenthal Shelterhouse Theatre

A new comedy set in the 1970s following an Irish-Catholic family and their "hilarious mishaps."

A Christmas Carol
Nov. 25 – Dec. 27, 2020, Marx Theatre

The holiday tradition – and the original Christmas grinch – returns to Playhouse in the Park for its 30th year.

Jan. 23 – Feb. 20, 2021, Marx Theatre

At the height of World War II, a meterologist must advise General Dwight Eisenhower on the forecast for the most daring invasion in history: D-Day.

Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill
Jan. 16 – March 7, 2021, Rosenthal Shelterhouse Theatre

The jazz-filled life and times of Billie Holiday, as told from the perspective of "Lady Day" herself.

Steel Magnolias
March 6 – April 3, 2021, Marx Theatre

The comedy-drama following a tight-knit group of Louisiana salon-goers made famous by the 1989 film of the same name.

Rooted
March 20 – April 25, 2021, Rosenthal Shelterhouse Theatre

A world premiere comedy about a reclusive amateur botanist who "unwittingly becomes a new-age, YouTube messiah."

Moriarty: A New Sherlock Holmes Mystery
April 17 – May 16, 2021, Marx Theatre

The original master of deduction faces an old foe in this new mystery from Baker Street.

Tenderly: The Rosemary Clooney Musical
May 8 – June 27, 2021, Rosenthal Shelterhouse Theatre

The beloved Cincinnati singer returns in this musical biography.
