CINCINNATI -- Dig in. Wahlburgers started serving burgers Thursday as part of the soft opening of its Downtown location at 199 E. Sixth St.
The restaurant is named after actor Mark Wahlberg and his brothers Paul and Donnie. The brothers chronicled the opening of their first eatery in 2014 on the A&E network reality show "Wahlburgers," which is now in its eighth season.
The eatery serves a variety of burgers, salads, macaroni and cheese, and specialty sandwiches. It also has a full-service bar with 20 beers on tap.
Regular hours for the restaurant will be announced in the near future, according to a post on its Facebook page. Wahlburgers is located inside the former Pi Pizzeria location, which closed last summer.
Mark Wahlberg was in Cincinnati in August to announce the opening of the newest Wahlburger location. Restaurateur Jeff Ruby tweeted a photograph of himself with the actor at the time.
