9 On Your Side reporter Ally Kraemer got engaged in November. She will be writing about her wedding planning experiences until her wedding in August. Expect to see the good, the bad and the bridezilla. (Just kidding!)
CINCINNATI -- I haven’t written for a while because I haven’t been wedding planning for a while!
As if life isn’t crazy enough, we decided to throw a new house into the mix! And by new house, I mean a major fixer-upper. And we’re living in the house during the remodel, so it’s mostly madness.
But just before we closed on the house, our great friend Nancy hosted the most fabulous wedding shower for me. She thought of every detail, down to the ribbons, bows and little white parasols. I hope to entertain like her one day!
I’ve never felt so loved. Having so many friends and family members all in the same place was so incredible. I was so overwhelmed, and now I realize how crazy the wedding day will actually be!
