Kings Island will reopen to the public on May 15, park spokesman Chad Showalter announced Thursday morning.
Gold and platinum season pass holders — including those who held passes for the pandemic-abridged 2020 season — can get in a few days earlier for a passholder preview weekend May 8-9.
Park staff expect to open Soak City Water Park over Memorial Day weekend on May 29.
“Kings Island continues to monitor the ever-changing conditions surrounding the pandemic and is actively working with health experts and government officials to maintain the highest safety standards for guests and associates,” Showalter wrote in a news release.
