Mary Magdalene and Jesus Christ's relationship served as the central plot point of the international bestseller The Da Vinci Code, but a new Hollywood romance takes it to a new level.
Joaquin Phoenix and Rooney Mara are now living together in sin in the Hollywood Hills, according to T Magazine.

Conspiracy theorists have long speculated whether Mary was a prostitute or wife of Jesus, but now the actors playing them in an upcoming film on Mary Magdalene's life have made it official.
Phoenix says his life is surprisingly simpler than what you'd expect from a leading silver screen star.
"His daily routine consists of answering emails, 'chilling' with his dog, meditating, taking a karate class, eating lunch, reading scripts and dinner — but for most of last year he’d been on location. He watches documentaries on Netflix (and he watched the 10-hour true-crime doc 'The Staircase' recently because Mara wanted to) but rarely watches new movies," T Magazine writes.
He elaborates that Moana and The Lost City of Z were particularly good Netflix watches.
