CINCINNATI -- Graeter's is celebrating National Ice Cream Day with a special deal.

Single-scoop sugar cones are $1.47 all day Sunday.

Why $1.47? Because Graeter's has been in business 147 years. The company also is offering a 20 percent discount online.

Current seasonal flavors are summer peach and watermelon sorbet.

National Ice Cream Day is celebrated on the third Sunday in July every year. Former President Ronald Reagan signed a law declaring the holiday -- and naming July as National Ice Cream Month -- in 1984.

Several national retailers have free ice cream at participating locations. Click here for a list.
